About Harkaway Bluestone Rebate Pool Coping and Step Treads

Rebated Drop Down Square Edge Pool Coping Tiles and Step Treads. These will match our Harkaway Bluestone pavers and Bluestone tiles. And will not rust or oxidise unlike regular Chinese Bluestone! The table below has the drop face or rebates that we currently stock and the current SALE price. We of course can manufacture special sizes not on our table below. We can supply a drop face up to 400mm thick, in a length up to 2 meters.

Note: There will be naturally occurring Cat’s Paw featured on each paver, varying from none to 10% of each individual pavers surface area. Cat’s Paw is a series of small pits which is naturally formed in bluestone. Many architects and designers purposefully seek out as much cat’s paw as possible as it is commonly perceived as a natural feature that people like to show off. However, if you’d like your bluestone completely without cat’s paw, we can arrange to get them sawn out for an additional cost. You have the option of filling these when grouting with our Bluestone colour matched grout or to leave them open as nature intended.

INSTALLATION/MAINTENANCE

Sealing

Bluestone can be sealed with an invisible penetrating sealer to assist in the ongoing clean up of the stone.

An invisible penetrating sealer can be applied prior to grouting which will facilitate easy clean up after application of the grout.

Cleaning

Do not use Hydrochloric acid for clean up as this can cause minerals present in the stone to react.

Maintenance

Just sweep when needed. Bluestone responds well to high pressure cleaning. A solution of mild detergent and water, can be applied prior to pressure cleaning.
